We are looking for any photo's, info etc about Jazz in Dundee from the 1930's - 1950's for this page.

From the late 1940's the Palais and the Empress Ballroom were the main employers and venues of Jazz in Dundee. Bands were big and Swing was the style of the day. Dundonians danced, met and married to live music. The Andy Lothian Orchestra started its 30 year residency in 1946 at the Palais Dance hall.
