The Initial Guide tracks were recorded at the Forge and the Rhythm Section played to the guide arrangements in Sound Cafe in Penicuik with Dave Grey at the mixing desk. He always had the kit and Piano mic'd, so we only had to get Mario's mic's and DI set and Dave would EQ etc while we played through the charts.

Piano's were hired in and Sound Cafe the tracking studio choice because Dave has worked with us 'Jazzers' for years and sports the expertise, lugs and sympathy for our strange ways and sonic demands. The sessions on the album were mainly tracked between 2011 and 2015, 'Soulmates' was recorded in 2007.

Mastering was done in Outer Space in 2018 with Allan McGlone, as were a couple of vocal sessions and balancing of my vocals against the Music.
