| Julio recorded vocals at a session in Las Palmas in July 09. He's from Caracas in Venezuela originally and like Mario paddled the Atlantic till he found Gran Canarias, where Punk is still loved and the weather is usually 25C all year round. We met in the early 90's and played together in a group (along with John Rae) called "Sex and Violence" for 10 years. "Las Canteras" is about that era. I emailed him a backing track and we worked on the vocals at his home studio, when i arrived. we spent 2 days along with fredy at the studio (Zulo Espacio Creativo) in the city.He recorded the Cuattro at his home studio and emailed it to me in October. When not making music and love, Julio likes to study Politics, the Blues, all things Celtique, cold draught beer, laughter and pasiflora. |
